WHEN AN ASTROLOGER MUST REFRAIN FROM MAKING PREDICTIONS?

Astrology is a divine science and every prediction needs divine intervention for its fulfilment. Egoless-ness is the primary qualification for a competent Astrologer. If he is full of ego, his predictions are likely to fail because in every prediction the grace of the almighty is needed. An Astrologer who meditates or prays regularly and is egoless, knowledgeable and who thinks himself as only a Nimit (conduit) can give predictions which are not likely to fail.

However, in the following situation; an astrologer must avoid making predictions; otherwise, predictions might be wrong.

a. Depending on astrologer's birth chart, at the time of judgment if Lagna is occupied to 6th or 8th or 12th house in RP Chart; astrologer should refrain from making prediction until Lagna moves away from those houses (for example-for Leo Lagna 6th, 8th and 12th houses falls under Capricorn, Pisces and Cancer respectively, hence avoid RP Lagna as Capricorn, Pisces and Cancer);

b. At the time of judgement if three or more Ruling Planets are in a state of retrograde_, then the judgement should be stopped immediately and resume after a while;

c. During Moon will transit into the star of 8th Lord in astrologer's chart (for example – for Cancer Lagna, 8th lord is Saturn; hence astrologer should try to avoid to predict on that day when Moon transiting in the star of Saturn);

d. Note the Star of the 8th cusp in astrologer's chart. Astrologer should avoid the day when Moon transiting into that star (for example – in a Cancer Lagna, 8th Cusp falls in Aquarius16°-36' and the rising star is Satabhisha; hence avoid the time/day when Moon will be transiting in Satabhisha);

e. At the time of judgment, if Moon is occupied to 6th or 8th or 12th house in RP Chart; astrologer should restrict himself from making predictions until & unless Moon moves away from those cusps.

f. During Amavashya Tithi and Lunar/Solar Eclipses. One may go for prediction in an exceptional or emergency cases only;

g. Judgement should be avoided immediately if a bad omen peeks into the mind to the astrologer at the very beginning of the predictions, or if he or someone else sneezes or coughs while starting the analysis.

h. Judgement should never be given if there is mental anxiety, worry and excitement.
