SOME SIGNIFICANT KP RULINGS (Part - 3)

17. Sterility
What causes sterility?
The 5th cusp is of greater importance to see whether one is able to produce a child or not. The 11th house is the 5th house of the partner, therefore the 11th cusp shows whether the partner will be able to produce children or not.
In respect of a birth chart in a male horoscope, the 11th and in a female horoscope, the 5th are very important to check for progeny. Only the female gives birth to a child. Thus, in a male chart, we consider the 11th (5th form 7th (wife)).
But in respect of the Horary chart, to check whether the husband is sterile or wife or both are sterile, judge 5th cusp for wife and 11th cusp for husband, if the question is asked by wife. However, it is important to know that, if the question is asked by the husband then judge the 5th cusp for husband and 11th cusp for wife.
Chances of sterility are indicated when:
If the sub lord of the 5 or 11th cusps is not retrograde or it is not deposited in the constellation of a retrograde planet and is the significator (in the star of the occupant or owner) of 1, 4 and 10 and connected with barren signs viz. Aries, Gemini, Leo, Virgo and Capricorn along with the planets Saturn, Rahu and Ketu then one has never begotten a child.
18. Adoption
Select the Ascendant of a child which you want to adopt. 4th cusp is mother, 9th cusp is father, 8th cusp is inheritance and also separation from father (12th from 9). In adoption a child is separated from the father and stays permanently with the adopted father. Adoption is considered from 4th cusp because mother delivered child, so motherhood is sure but not fatherhood. I hope that the above explanation is clear.
19. Will a particular child go into adoption?
If the 4th cusp sub lord of that particular child is deposited in a dual sign, or if the sub lord itself is Mercury, and if the sub lord of the 4th cusp is a significator to the 8th house (show legacy), the child will go in adoption to someone. The joint period of the significators to 4th and 8th houses of the child is to be considered for the time of event.
20. Education
a. Consider the houses 4, 9 and 11 for education (4th is the main house for education, it denotes preparation for examinations, academic qualifications, regular attendance in school or college: 9th-deep study and higher education; 11th-fulfilment of desires. The 6th house shows Competitive examination (it is 12th from 7 i.e. loss to others and gain to you).
b. Completion of education: Consider the houses 3, 5 and 8 (being 12th from 4, 6, and 9 respectively).
c. Houses 4, 9, and 11 are for education or studies, while 3 and 8 address completion, negation, or denial of studies.
d. If the sub lord is the occupant or owner of the 4th, 9th, or 11th; or is in the star of the occupant or owner of the 4th, 9th, and 11th; or is in conjunction or in aspect with the significator of the 4th, 9th, or 11th, it is said to be harmonious to the matters of the 4th, 9th, and 11th.
e. In other words, if the sub lord is the significator of the 4th, 9th, or 11th it is said to be harmonious to and connected with the matters of the 4th, 9th, and 11th.
f. If the sub lord is the significator of the 3rd or the 8th, it is detrimental to the matters of the 4th, 9th, and 11th and it is said to be connected with the 3rd and 8th.
Mercury and Jupiter are the chief governors of education. Summing up the above
If the sub lord of the 4th cusp is Mercury or Jupiter, or if it is in the star of the occupant or owner of 4, 9 or 11 and if its star lord is connected with Mercury or Jupiter then the native will get academic qualifications.
21. Success in Exam
If the sub lord of the 4th cusp be the significator (in the star of the occupant or owner) of the 4th, 9th, or 11th, a successful examination is promised when at the time of the exam (during the days of the examination) the joint period of the significators of the 4th, 9th, and 11th is running.
22. Scholarship
If the cuspal sub lord of the 6th or 11th be the significator of the 2nd (money), the 6th (scholarship), or the 11th (gain), and connected with the 4th house (studies), the native gets the scholarship for studies during the joint periods (dashas) of the significators of the 2nd, 6th, and 11th which are connected with the 4th.
23. Termination of Education
If the cuspal sub lord 4th be the significator (in the star of the occupant or owner) of 3 or 5 or 8 and connected with afflicted Saturn and Ketu (detrimental to education) then termination of education is promised during the joint period of the significator of 3 or 5 or 8.
If Saturn and Ketu are also connected with the 11th house, the education will be completed after a break.
24. Employment
If the cuspal sub lord of the 6th or 10th be the significator of the 2nd, 6th, or 10th, service or earning ability is promised during the joint period (dashas) of the significators of the 2nd, 6th, and 10th.
25. Leaving a Job
If the sub lord of the 10th or 6th cusp is the significator of the 1st, 5th, or 9th, the native can leave service during the joint period of the significators of the 1st, 5th, and 9th. These significators are generally connected with the houses of service, which are the 2nd, the 6th, and the 10th.
26. Transfer in Service/Job Transfer
If the cuspal sub lord of the 3rd or the 12th is the significator of the 3rd or 12th, and connected with the 10th bhava along with Moon in any manner, then the native - if in service - will get transferred from the present place to another place during the joint period of the significators of the 3rd, 10th, and 12th.
27. Promotion
Better prospects, honour, prestige, and rank are to be studied from the 10th house, and an increase in income - as well as other benefits - are to be judged from the 11th house. The 2nd and 6th houses are to be considered anytime the question is relative to the profession.
The order in which we have to select the significators according to their strength is as follows:
- The planets posited in the star of the occupants of the 2nd, 6th, 10th or 11th.
- The planets posited in the 2nd, 6th, 10th, or 11th.
- The planets posited in the stars of the lords of the 2nd, 6th, 10th or 11th.
- The lords of the above houses.
- The planets conjoined with the strong significators.
- The planets aspected by the strong significators.
- Rahu or Ketu posited in the sign of any of the strong significators.
- Houses to be judged for promotions are the 2nd, 6th, 10th and 11th.
Summing up the above, if the sub lord of 6th or 10th cusp be the significator (in the star of the occupant or owner) of 2 (self-acquisition/improvement of bank position), 6 (job/service/money received), 10 (profession/status) and 11 (gain, success, fulfilment of desire) promotion in service is promised during the joint period of the significator of 2, 6, 10 and 11.
Significators
(Note: Whether Rahu or Ketu is in a sign conjoined with, aspected by, or owned by a planet, then the node is to be both considered and preferred.)
- Rahu or Ketu, or the planets posited in the star of the occupants of either the 2nd, 6th, 10th, or 11th.
- The occupants.
- The node or the planets posited in the star of the owners of the 2nd, 6th, 10th and 11th.
- the owners.
- The node or the planets conjoined with any of the significators.
(This rule is universal, simple, scientific, correct, and convincing.)
Question: When can I expect the next promotion?
Based on the above, select the common planets among the significators, and the ruling planets at the moment of judgment, and line up the appropriate dasha sequence (dasha, bhukti, antara, and shookshma) to determine when the next promotion will occur.
