SATURN IN THE 11TH HOUSE  

This is one of the best positions for Saturn, whatever Rasi be in the 11th house, and wherever Saturn-owned Rasis are situated in the Birth-chart. The individual is always assured of regular income and earnings. The individual stays active in life for long years, reaching old age. If Mars or Rahu or Herschel is in the 4th house, the individual may have to start earning from an early age, say between the age of 14 and 18 years.  

The individual starts with moderate or meagre income but gradually and steadily reaches high levels of earnings, as well as direct and indirect income too.  

The individual doesn’t have much distinction between fair and unfair in-flow of money in own hands or in the hands of spouse or other members of the immediate family. It happens the most in the case of people in positions of power and authority, the reason is simple. The 10th house rules profession, politics, business, career, vocation, source of income, and the 2nd house from any given house is always of money, savings and moveable as well as immoveable assets.  

Further generally it is observed that individuals with Saturn in the 11th house either have more than one source of income or both husband and wife earn actively or in the immediate joint family has at least two actively earning members. It has to be remembered that Saturn’s very nature is “slow and steady”. The subjects that can constitute sources of income for the individual, have already been mentioned in previous paragraphs under the current chapter on Saturn.  

However there is no harm in repetition of a few of them. These are industrial ventures, manufacturing units, business or trading in petrol, diesel, lubricating oils, edible oils (specially groundnut, linseed, sesame, and cottonseed oils). It also includes dealing in machinery and spare parts, running labour-supply-agency, placement services, recruitment agency for engineering/ scientific/ technical experts, running courier service, cargo and customs clearance service, trade union leadership, collecting masses for a rally/ procession/ meeting/ demonstration/ picketing etc.  

Saturn in the 11th house concerns itself also with blackmailing, smuggling, hoarding, profiteering, kidnapping for ransom or other purposes.  

Saturn in the 11th house is a good support in matters of politics and acquiring power by fair or foul means. Because of a good level of income, these individuals often make financial contributions or indirect financial support to politicians. If Saturn is very strong in the 11th house and has the support of Sun or Mars, the individual assumes the role of a king-maker at panchayat level, Saturn in the 11th house, but Ketu-oriented results are less in quantity and quality.  

One precaution essential about Ketu and Saturn combination in the 11th house, during investigations and interrogations by police or grafting agencies, the individual should be cautious all the time, lest the individual’s own handwriting (given voluntarily or by force or during the physical torture), or if forced to do so or statement in the individual’s own handwriting, given at all so whether the individual gives any written accounts or statement or even any simple explanation at the initial stages of enquiry and investigation, the individual is very likely to land in trouble by his own writing, and subsequently, it would be pretty difficult to get out of the self-created situation. Ketu encourages the individual to adopt written words instead of the spoken word. This combination encourages the individual to start writing as a source of additional income, and though published or released or broadcast writings of the individual are well received by the public, the payments for that work are received in parts and that too after long delay of intervals.  

Ketu with Saturn induces the individual to a high quality wardrobe, going out well dressed and in the case of women, appearing in public adorned with jewellery and ornaments.
