HOW DO THE PLANETS ACT?

The planets can decipher the results in two ways –

 (1) according to the "Planetary" significance

 (2) according to the "Bhava" significance.

  1. ACCORDING TO THE PLANETARY SIGNIFICANCE

To ascertain first of all, one is to take each planet and consider in which constellation it is, and note in which houses the lord of the constellation is posited and note in which houses the lord of the constellation is the owner and find out the matters signified by the lord of the constellation according to its ownership of the Bhava (never take into judgment where it is posited, its nature etc.) Suppose you find that Jupiter rules the 9th house the stars governed by Jupiter are Punarvasu, Bisakha and Purbabhadra pada. Hence any planet occupying any of these 3 stars will be under the influence of Jupiter.

      The planet deposited in the constellation of a planet, in which the constellation lord is occupied in the house and the houses that it owns, gives the results of those houses strongly in 1st preference. The planet then gives the results of the house in which it is posited or houses it is owned. Then the planet gives the results according to the planets or a planet with which it is either conjoined or which it is aspected (according to Hindu-aspect only).

2. ACCORDING TO BHAVA SIGNIFICANCE  

According to the Krishnamurti Padhhati, if a planet becomes strong and posited in a house, it does not mean that planet becomes a strong significator of that particular house, this is a proven fact. In fact,

a. The planets or planets posited in the constellation of a planet are about the strongest significator of that house.

b. The planet then gives the results of the house in which it is posited.

c. The planets or planets deposited in the constellation of the said house lord are the next fruitful planets.

d. The said house lord is then the next fruitful planet.

e. According to the rules (B-D), the planets which are conjoined with the said planets or the planets which will be aspects (according to the Hindu aspect) are also the fruitful planets of that house, but it seems to be weak fruitful planets.
