GENERAL STRENGTH OF A PLANET

In Krishnamurti Padhdhati the results of the house occupied by a planet will be indicated more than by that which owns the house. In giving the results of a house, the planet occupying it is considered as the strongest. The owner is taken as next only in strength. The results of the house occupied by the planet will get modified by the planet which aspects it and also by the planet which is conjoined with the lord and which aspects the lord of the house.

      If a planet occupies a sign which is the 6th or the 8th or the 12th from the sign which it owns, it loses strength to offer such results as are indicated by that house, but will give results just opposite to the indications of the house owned by it.

1. The occupant is stronger than the owner of the sign:

      a. Only when the lord of the sign does not gain more strength by occupying its exalted sign or being aspected by friendly planets.

      b. When the lord of the sing is not conjoined with the planet or is occupying its other sign and

      c. When the occupant is exalted whether the owner is in its own sign or exaltation.

However, sometimes owner is stronger than the occupant and it is real fact,

   2. The owner is stronger when:

      a. If the occupant is in its enemy's camp or Neecha, i.e. Debilitated.

      b. If the lord of the sign is Exalted and the occupant is deposited in the constellation or Sub of an enemy planet who is posited in the negation house cusp pertaining to the event.

      c. If the lord of the sign is conjoined with the friendly planet in its own sign and the occupant is not exalted there i.e. the owner is in his own house, whereas the occupant is neither exalted nor posited with a friendly planet or in a friendly house.

      d. If the occupant is aspected by the planet who is posited in the adverse house or if the said occupant is aspected by the enemy planet that can seize the power invariably of the Occupant.

If the owner is strong, the ranking of the significator will vary as below. Most of the KP Astrologers are not following this important KP rule.

Now I am going to clarify it, for example, if Mars and Moon conjunct in Cancer denote that Moon is stronger, even though generally Mars is stronger than Moon, yet the Moon in own sign is stronger in giving the results (it its period or sub period) indicated by the house Cancer than what Moon can do in its period.
