COMBUSTION OF PLANETS AND THEIR SIGNIFICANCE

Combustion of a planet is a natural phenomenon which is said to be caused when such a planet comes within certain closer degrees to the Sun. When it happens, the planet which has come closer to the Sun than a safer distance to be maintained may become comparatively weaker as the Sun may burn some of its strength out. This planet which loses some of its strength by virtue of being too close to the Sun is called a combust planet. While depicting this planet in a horoscope, the alphabet (C) with red colour is written along with it, which is an indication for the person who studies such horoscopes, that this planet was combust at the time of birth of the native who possesses such horoscope.

      The Sun , the star of our solar system, is a high and intense energy burning star, has the stars revolving around it in elliptical orbit tend to come close and receive more than normal energy thus altering its natural vibrations and influence.

      The planets are considered combust when they have following longitudinal difference with the Sun on either side:

• Moon – 4 degrees
• Mars – 8 degrees  
• Mercury – 5 degrees (3 degrees when retrograde)
• Venus – 6 degrees (4 degrees when retrograde)
• Jupiter – 5 degreesSaturn – 8 degrees
  

So what really happens when the planet is combust?

      As Planets Come into orbit of combustion, it loses both its natural strength and also its functional strength.
